It’s safe to say that I live and breath the sport of Muay Thai... I have earned a reputation through pure commitment at both the national and world stages; fighting my way through the ranks to become a British champion and competing against world champions in the sport.

The road to becoming a Muay Thai boxing champion isn’t easy, and it’s forced me to assess my lifestyle choices and make sacrifices along the way. Having learned the hard way, I now take pride in sharing the values and expertise I’ve learned along the way to help others achieve their goals and instil in them the disclipline needed to progess.

My time in Thailand and competing on a world stage has taught me that it’s all worth it in the end, and whether you’re a beginner or an experienced fighter, we will tailor each training session to fit your individual needs.

Interesting Fact:

They always say you should practice what you preach... As a firm believer that a healthy body lends itself to a healthy and happy mind, I am always looking for that next challenge to grow and develop my practice as both a Muay Thai athlete and Personal Trainer.

Still actively fighting (and with no signs of slowing down) I pride myself and my reputation on bringing my clients the latest up-to-date Muay Thai techniques and fitness principles, from my own professional study, to my time spent in Thailand learning from some of the very best in the international circuit.

As a Personal Trainer I am driven to helping my clients realise their own unique potential, empowering each client through the bespoke planning of both gym-based sessions and Muay Thai sessions, appropriate to the experience level and individual needs of each client.

Even if you have never tried Muay Thai before it is great a way of improving all over body conditioning, mental aptitude, muscular strength and has to be the best stress busting tool out there!

Interesting Fact:

When you see me teaching kettlebells, you’ll see me getting really excited as I love doing it.. I was always quite sporty as a kid, becoming a PT was a natural transition for me… For 27 years I have tried and tested various training methods.

In my younger years (not to say I am not still young!) I trained as a power lifter under 7-time world Champion Peter Tregloan , competing at national level at 100kg body weight, placing 3rd in the Southern Britain powerlifting championships. After powerlifting, I moved on to Professional Wrestling for 2 years.

I have been lucky enough in my life to practice various martial arts including judo, karate and Muay Thai, it was originally in sport jiujitsu where I found my strength competing at World level in 2007, I hold a black belt in Sport JiuJistu. I moved on to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA , I currently hold a brown belt under Braulio Estima in BJJ.

Having got ‘bored’ of traditional gym ‘stuff’ I focused on finding a new training method and for the last ten years have specialised in Kettlebell training and instruction, bodyweight and unconventional training and conditioning focused on both general strength and fitness in addition to writing and running tailored programmes for Martial Arts fighters, BJJ and grappling.

My experience in the industry is un-paralleled, having trained former world light heavyweight Bellator champion Liam McGeary in Strength and Conditioning before he moved to Bellator. I am now enjoying my time at Blood Fitness helping clients achieve their personal goals, whatever they may be. If you want to try a new way to build your strength – I can get you there. If you want to deadlift – I can help you. If you want to be the strongest grappler on the mat – I can help you with that too.
